“I’m not homophobic, but I think gay sex is unnatural.”

I’ve heard it said from one guy:

“It’s unnatural because whether it’s gay or lesbian sex, you’re not looking into your partner’s eyes. Sure, gays and lesbians can do it, but they have to maneuver too much.”

Last time I checked, straight couples didn’t all have sex in the missionary position. They also have oral and anal sex, and penetration in a variety of positions (such as from behind). There’s no deep biological urge with most to stick with the missionary position only; it gets boring.

If you want to be consistent with that view, then during sex you shouldn’t wear protection and risk pregnancy, because it’s “natural.” That’s what sperm was made for.

Hypocrite much?

On the other hand, the clitoris is the only organ that was made specifically for pleasure, and nothing else. Humans have evolved to be able to choose to rise above mere biological urges (namely, procreation) and stereotypes in sexual attraction as well as in the sex act itself. I’d say “biology is not destiny,” but it’s also the fact that we do not have to conform to gender roles assigned to sex, and that includes heterosexuality.
